An artist's journal.
Here you'll find my paintings and musings, where the featured subjects could likely cover just about anything.
The last 4+ years I've been caring for my best buddy B during his courageous fight to live through cancer and it's complications. I'm tickled to report, he's getting better and I'm finding small bits of painting time again.

Looking forward to a daily celebration of life's gifts by using the brightest, happiest colors in the box!

"Winter Trees" 2005
15" x 30" x 3/4"
Acrylic on canvas
Livingstone collection- Tucson, AZ

Wow, how can it really already be December?!

Decided to paint some pine trees for a different twist on my Tall Trees series.  Pretty, cool colors with
really neat texture found throughout,
especially on the tree branches.

Click cropped detail below to see tree texture a bit better. Wish I'd taken better photos of this painting.
It was so much prettier in person.

This is beautiful. They look like they're waiting for something.

Thanks Susan! This one really was much prettier in person. Lots of neat texture and motion the camera didn't get. I love your wonderful comments on my paintings. Hope all is well in your world and you're making lots of music! Love your band!
